And whoever saves one - it is as if he had saved mankind entirely) Al- Maaida (05-32), this verse of the Holy Quran represented every humanitarian meaning that we in the Saudi Red Crescent Authority established our bylaws and regulations as well operational systems from that understanding. For that we care on providing patients and victims with utmost pre-hospital care with highly qualified staff ready to serve with state-of-art ambulance vehicles and equipment that guarantee safety and deliver patients on the road with international standards of providing ambulatory medical services before arriving to the hospital.
Distribution of ambulance centers is based on the vision and the message of the Authority to serve and save patients with a reduction in response time as the top priority of our standards in order to reduce disabilities to keep them actively productive in the community.

For that we worked on educating the community to increase awareness to avoid accidents in partnership with top educational and medical specialized institutions. The following tables show the types of programs given and the number of beneficiaries of training, awareness and educational activities in the community delivered by the Authority.

Results benefited both sides where the community received courses in first aid and relief works, and the Authority treasured with the huge number of volunteers to participate in Hajj season since 2002 where they provided noticeable medical emergency services to pilgrims. The Saudi Red Crescent Authority seek great humanitarian objectives as follows:
The number of volunteers serving pilgrims served in the two holy mosques during Ramadan and Hajj season in (2015)
reached 8323 volunteers who obtained the following tasks in several activities and events related to volunteering program including:
The number of volunteers serving pilgrims in Ramadan season reached 1148 volunteers in both Makkah and Madinah. Volunteering teams also participated in Hajj season in Makkah and Madinah reached (509) volunteers in 1435 H (2015)
